How can I get in touch with you?

Where is Clutch Luxe based?

We’re proudly based in Vancouver, BC! We offer local courier delivery for our clients based in Vancouver.

Do you have a brick-and-mortar storefront?

We do not have a store at this time. Stay tuned for future updates on our Instagram @ClutchLuxeVanCity as this may change down the line! 

Rentals
For how long can I keep my rental purse?

We offer standard rental periods of 4, 11, and 18 days. 

How far in advance can I reserve a purse?

Our purses can be reserved up to 3 months in advance. If you live in Vancouver, you may reserve your purse as few as 1 business day in advance of your rental period, as we courier locally and offer local pick-up.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

We understand that your plan may have changed. Please email info@clutchluxe.ca to change your rental purse or your rental period. 

Please note that reservations cannot be cancelled or changed after your package has been prepared for shipping.

Rental bookings are non-refundable. For cancellations, you will receive a store credit that can be used towards a future rental with us.

What are your late fees?

We charge $20 per day for late purse returns. After 5 calendar days, if your return package has not been postmarked by the return shipping company, you will be charged the full retail value of the purse, plus any accrued late fees in addition to your pre-paid rental fee. 

Late fees will only be charged if the purse is postmarked later than the final day of your rental period. You will not be charged for any shipping delays on the part of the carrier. 

Do you offer extended rentals?

We can often accommodate rental extensions depending on availability. Our extended rates start at $10 extra per day. Please email us at info@clutchluxe.ca for a quote. 

What do I do if I can’t return my purse on time?

What happens if the purse is damaged during my rental period?

Mistakes happen! Typically, most issues can be repaired. Your mandatory $7 rental insurance fee covers you for small wear and tear factors including small stains, rips, zipper issues, missing sequins, beads, buttons, tassels, etc. 

We reserve the right to determine whether damage qualifies as small wear and tear by our quality assurance team. Should your purse be damaged beyond repair or lost, you will be charged its full retail value.

What happens if I lose the purse during my rental period?

Unfortunately, we will charge the full retail value of your rented purse to the card on file associated with your rental.

What happens if my rental is lost in the mail?

All of our purses are insured. When returning a purse, it is your responsibility to ensure the package is scanned upon drop off at the post office. If the package is not scanned, it is not insured, and you will be held fully liable for the full retail value of the purse. 

How many items can I rent at one time?

You may rent one purse at a time with Clutch Luxe. But feel free to come back as soon as your rental period is over!

Once your account has been verified, you may rent more than one bag at a time.

What if I don’t like my rental item when I receive it?

Unfortunately, all rentals are final and cannot be refunded. Rentals cannot be exchanged once the package has been packaged for shipping.

Can I return my rental early and be reimbursed?

Unfortunately, no. Each rental period is pre-set and cannot be changed once your rental purse has been packaged for shipping.

Can I lend the item to someone else during my rental period?

Our items can only be used by the renter who reserved the purse. Kindly refrain from sharing your purse with others.

What happens if I receive the purse with damage?

While our quality assurance team makes every effort to repair minor wear and tear damage before a client receives their rental purse, small scuffs, stains, and rips are normal. If the damage on your rental bag is larger than the size of a dime, please contact us at info@clutchluxe.ca

How long does it take for my account to be approved for renting?

We will reach a decision about your account within 2 business days.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Each renter must verify their identity due to the high-value items we carry. This allows us to mitigate theft and risks. Thank you for understanding!

Do you keep my credit card information on file when I rent?

Yes, we keep your payment information securely on hand in the event that we need to charge for late fees, damage fees, or missing bag fees. 

Payment & Shipping
What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, and Shopify Payments. 

How much does shipping cost?

There is a flat rate shipping fee of $15. We also offer free local pickup to our clients in Greater Vancouver.

How does shipping work?

Your purse rental will arrive on or before the start of your rental period. Shipping typically takes between 3-5 business days. We do not count shipping time when calculating rental periods, meaning you will have your full allotted rental period to enjoy your purse. 

For clients based in Vancouver, we offer next-day courier shipping, or local pick up.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to every province in Canada, excluding Quebec, Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut.

If I don’t live in Canada, can I still rent?

Unfortunately, we do not offer rentals to clients outside of Canada at this time. 

Can I pick up my rental item if I live locally?

Yes! We offer local pick-up, drop-off, and courier services to our clients based in Vancouver. Please contact us at info@clutchluxe.ca to arrange your local pick-up.

What if my purse arrives late?

We’re so sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, shipping times are often out of our control, though we make every effort to ensure your purse arrives on time. We may be able to offer a credit to Clutch Luxe for your next purse rental OR a rental extension in the event of a late arrival. Please contact us at info@clutchluxe.ca for more information. 

If your rented purse is scheduled for another rental immediately following your rental period, we ask that you kindly return your purse on the specified date in exchange for a store credit. Please contact us at info@clutchluxe.ca for more information. 

About the Purses
What can I do with my purse?

You can take her out on the town, wine and dine, hit the club, go on vacation, attend a wedding, and anything else your heart desires! The world is your oyster.

At this time, we do not permit the lending of our purses. The renter is the only person permitted to use the purse during the rental period.

What should I avoid doing with my purse?

Please avoid wearing perfumes and deodorants near your purse, as these products may leave stains. Kindly apply self-tanning products a minimum of 48 hours in advance of wearing your purse.

Where do you source your purses?

Our purses are purchased new from authorized retailers. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our purses.

Do I need to clean my purse before returning?

No. We ask that you kindly do not clean your purse (including machine wash, hand wash, or dry clean) before returning it to us. Our team will give your rented purse the TLC it needs before it’s sent off to the next client!

Are all of your purses brand new?

Yes! All of our purses are purchased brand new from authorized retailers. 

Are your items authentic?

Yes! Authenticity is very important to us. We guarantee the 100% authenticity of each of our rented purses.

Can I consign my gently used purse with you?

Unfortunately, we do not accept consignments at this time. 

Can I buy rental items?

At this time, we do not offer rent-to-own purchases on our purses. However, we are planning on offering rent-to-own at a later date. Please stay up to date with all things Clutch Luxe through our our Instagram @ClutchLuxeVanCity.

How It Works

Register

1. Create an Account

Create your account with us and let us know who you are. 

2. Wait for Approval

If everything looks up to snuff, we’ll approve your account for rentals. 

3. Browse our Rentals!

Choose the perfect purse for your upcoming occasion. Go ahead, drink it all in. 

Rent

1. Select Your Rental Period

Choose your rental period from the calendar in the sidebar. Place your order and we’ll take care of the rest. 

2. Wait

Your purse will arrive by courier within 3-5 business days. 

3. Enjoy

Celebrate, party, and have a ball with your purse in tow. Don’t forget to tag us @clutchluxevancity!

Return

1. Package

Place your purse back in its dust bag and package it in the pre-labelled mailer enclosed in your box.

2. Drop

On or before your return date, drop off the package at your nearest Canada Post Office.

3. Repeat!

Rent with us as often as your calendar allows!
