Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions

By renting an item from us, you agree to the Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions below.

Responsibility for damage: As the renter, you are responsible for any loss, destruction, or damage to the rented item beyond regular wear and tear.
Regular wear and tear may include:
  • Small stains
  • Small rips
  • Scuffs
  • Missing beads or buttons
  • Stuck zippers
  • Other minor physical damage
As the renter, you assume complete responsibility for any loss, destruction, or substantial damage to the items resulting from theft, accidents, fire, or any other causes, excluding regular wear and tear.

Insurance coverage: Regular wear and tear is covered by a rental insurance fee of $7 included in the price of your rental. As part of the Rental Agreement, you agree to handle Clutch Luxe items with care and to return the items in the same state they arrived in.

Clutch Luxe’s right to determine damages: Clutch Luxe reserves the right to assess and determine whether damages exceed the bounds of regular wear and tear. We will evaluate the condition of the rented product upon return. Should we determine the returned product’s damage exceeds regular wear and tear, the renter agrees to pay charges or penalties.

Payment for retail value: If a rented item is returned in a damaged condition exceeding regular wear and tear, the renter will be contacted by Clutch Luxe and required to settle the costs associated with repairing or replacing the item up to the item’s retail value.

Refunds: Please note that all rentals are non-refundable. Once the item is taken into possession or received by the renter, it is considered rented for the agreed-upon timeframe. If the item is unused for the duration of the rental period, we are unable to offer a refund or credit.

Late fee: A $20 per item per day late fee applies to delayed returns. Upon shipment back to Clutch Luxe, late fees are applicable only if the postmark date is past the agreed return date. Late fees will not be imposed for carrier-caused delays.

Perfumes and tanning lotions: Please avoid wearing perfumes and tanning lotions near our rental items, as they can be difficult to remove. If our items are returned with lingering perfume scents or spray tan marks, an additional cleaning charge will apply. Please apply spray tan at least 48 hours in advance of wearing your items.

Quality assurance: The Clutch Luxe Quality Assurance team meticulously tests all bags before they leave our facilities, ensuring their flawless condition. Despite our best efforts, unexpected zipper malfunctions during your rental period are beyond our control. We’re unable to provide refunds for any issues related to zipper functionality during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Delivery guarantee: Despite our best efforts to accommodate renters’ delivery needs, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. Should your rented item arrive past the scheduled arrival date, please contact us at info@clutchluxe.ca.

Colour variation: Please note that the colour of Clutch Luxe items may differ slightly from the images on our website. We appreciate your understanding regarding slight variations.

Theft: Items that are not returned will be considered stolen and will result in charges equivalent to their full retail value. This charge is separate from any rental or late fees already paid, which are non-refundable. If necessary, Clutch Luxe may involve external collections agencies to handle these charges.

Confirming a rental reservation with Clutch Luxe signifies your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.

Your product delivery will contain a prepaid and pre-addressed envelope, referred to as Return Packaging, for the convenient return of items to Clutch Luxe.
